Orientation is meant to provide you with the important information you need to know about John Veriha Trucking, Inc. and it's policies and procedures.

While you're here, you will meet a lot of new faces and learn a lot of new things.  Although our process is very beneficial, we understand that nobody can remember all of that information after sucha short time.  That is why upon completion of the orientation process you'll be assigned to a Driver Manager who is specifically there to help you through the first few weeks of coming on board and getting used to our processes and procedures.  We want to make your transition into John Veriha Trucking, Inc. as easy and comfortable as we can make it.

While you're here we will provide lodging and transportation as well as a meal each day.

Day 1

• Job Placement Assesment and DOT physical/ drug screen
• Photo for ID
• Complete road test
• Complete outstanding application paperwork
• New hire paperwork
• Video training

  • Maintenance Information

Day 2

• Daily Operations Information
• PeopleNet & Electronic Log Training
• Finish any incomplete paperwork
• Receive Fuel Card
  • Payroll/Benefits Information
  • Operations Presentation
  • Meet your Driver-Manager
  • Meet the President & Vice President

• Pillow/bedding
• Overnight Bag for Clothes
• Birth dates of family members

• TWIC card (if applicable)
